How to bring your hair extensions back to life

Do you have old hair underneath your sink that you are contemplating throwing away? Well this blog post is going to help you save that hair.

For this process you will need the following tools:

  • A pot of boiling water
  • a stove
  •  extra virgin olive oil
  • coconut oil
  • conditioner
  • sulfate free shampoo

All of the products can be found at a store near you.

First you will need to fill a pot with water and put it on the stove. After doing that you want to take your coconut oil, olive oil, and conditioner and mix it in the water.  You do not have to over saturate the water with these products, but you do need enough so it can spread evenly throughout the hair. After adding your ingrediants you will need to insert the hair in the water mixture and bring it to a boil. Let hair sit and boil for about 5-10 min before taking it out.

Once the hair is done boiling you want to wash the hair with a sulfate free shampoo. Sulfate free does not strip the moisture out of hair while cleansing the hair. While shampooing you want to run your fingers through it gently, to stop any tangling that might occur. Then wash it out. After shampooing add conditioner. I recommend the orgnx coconut conditioner because it leaves the hair soft and silky. Let the conditioner sit for 10 min and then rinse with cool water. Cool water seals in the moisture while still getting the conditioner out of your hair. Let hair air dry before installing. Your hair is going to be revitalised and your its going to look brand new!

Well I hope this journey I took you on will help save your hair !

Until Next time
